Resilience Now is a French NGO which gathers a professional multicultural and multidisciplinary team, sharing a double expertise – development and environment – and gathering skills in rural development, natural resources management, agriculture, finance, biodiversity, water and purification, public health, town planning, reduction of the risks of disaster, climate change, permaculture, humanitarian aid and sociology.

Holder of a Master’s degree and an Engineering degree in Agronomy and Environment, Guillaume coordinates some Red List projects in the National Natural History Museum, with the UICN French Committee. Guillaume is the President of Resilience Now and his expertise deals with biodiversity conservation and environmental policy.
Isabelle Chabin

Secretary

Doctor of public health specialized in social cohesion and in precariousness, Isabelle is responsible for the prevention and caring access program of the deprived public in the Regional Agency of Health of Ile-de-France. She also has an important experience as an humanitarian doctor. Isabelle is the secretary of Resilience Now and she is specialised in health and precariousness.
Frédéric Sirot

Treasurer

Holder of a Master’s degree in international Economy and Development, Frédéric occupies a function of internal mediator in a banking group. He takes part in actions of popularization of environmental issues for the general public and also participates in pressure actions on the private and public decision-makers. Frédéric is the Treasurer of Resilience Now and his expertise gathers the development economy and the mediation.
Florence Gibert

Florence Gibert

Executive director

Holder of a Master of Law and a Master of Environment, Florence has worked as a coordinator and then as an evaluator of humanitarian programs. She specializes in environmental risks and community resilience, as well as driving change to introduce more sustainable practices. She has founded Resilience Now, where her expertise gathers socio-environmental resilience, permaculture, climate change adaptation and energy transition.

Claire Galvez-Wagler

Holder of an Engineering degree in agronomy and specialized in the rural and environmental development, Claire worked within biodiversity conservation NGOs in educational projects about nature and preservation. Her expertise goes from agroecology or natural resources management to the rural development as well as the writing of projects and the search for financial partners.

Project manager

Student in Envionmental Gestion, Rémi is currently in a gap year and is currently working for Resilience Now for improving its communication. He also takes part in the writing of RN formations and in the projects fund seeking.

Holder of a Master ‘s degree in natural resource management and Bachelor degree in Sociology, Damascene worked within conservation and development NGOs in indigenous people development and environmental projects located in Rwanda. His expertise goes from rural development to soil conservation, agroforestry, and adaptation to climate change.

Holder of a Master’s degree in  Tropical Forestry and Land Management and a Master’s degree in Geography/Tropical Climatology, Fabien was in charge of Environmental Action Promotion Chief-Service in the Burundi Ministry for Water, Environment, Land Management and Urban Planning before he shifted to an independent Professional.  He works now as Consultant in environment and sustainable development . His expertise gathers  environmental impact assessment and Climate Change adaptation.

Holder of a diploma in Resources Center Management of the University of Southampton ( England), Najib is involved in numerous programs for the environmental protection and the human development in Morocco. His expertise span environmental issues as well as Northern African cultures and languages.

Official national guide of Mali, Hama conjugates his professional activity with community development projects and took part in several development projects along with respect and integration of the environment. His expertise gathers environmental issues in Sahelian environment as well as Western African cultures and languages.

Holder of a Master’s degree in International Development and of a PhD in Geography, Simon exercised as coordinator of humanitarian programs and led searches on the situation of the vulnerable communities in prolonged situations of conflicts. His expertise gathers the coordination of humanitarian programs, the political ecology of the humanitarian crises and the permaculture.
